The recruitment process across the Australia Post Group (Startrack, Decipha, Securepay) differs for each role and is designed to help ensure that we’re looking at the right role for you. Depending on the role you’ve applied for you may be asked to complete a combination of the following:

  • An online application form
  • An online assessment which may include video, text, multiple choice or audio responses

  • A face to face interview

At Australia Post safety is at the forefront of everything we do. As part of our recruitment process all prospective employees are required to undergo a full background check and medical assessment including alcohol and drug testing to ensure they safely meet the role requirements. The roles are hybrid in nature so working from home and in our office. I am applying for a role in:
The role is fixed-term full-time (12 months), you will work on a rotating roster from Monday to Friday, spanning 8am to 8pm and you will have one month's notice of your roster.  Are you comfortable with this?

Pay Rates


The rate of pay is $59,257 per annum plus 12% superannuation (Trainee level rate).

Your salary will increase up to $65,387 per annum plus 12% superannuation (base level rate) after 3 months aggregate employment in any twelve-month period.

Training


You will be provided with ongoing training for the first 12 weeks, with access to a Team Coach, onsite Help Hub, and peer support to set you up for success.

The initial 4 weeks is full-time classroom-based training (9am-5pm) which is mandatory. We do require our successful applicants to be able to commit to this training period.

After 4 weeks, you will then move onto your rotating roster for 2-4 weeks of on-the-job training. Once proficient, you'll transition to working from home four days a week, with one day spent in the office for team meetings.
