Working from 5.30pm - 1.21am Mon-Fri, this role is responsible for the Qantas run to pick up/drop off unit load devices (ULD's) - cages filled with bags of mail and parcels, and dropping off ULD's at our Lancaster Road warehouse. You will require a forklift ticket and will use electric/manual pallet jacks (training provided). As such this is a physically demanding opportunity. The second half of shift is loading the truck with ULD's and dropping off to our LPO's. Overtime is required from time to time. Excellent rates and working conditions on offer!
- Safely loading your truck with cages for delivery
- Completing your own daily vehicle safety check
- Driving our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups
- Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups
- Hold a HR vehicle license and a forklift licence
- Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility
- Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills
- You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 120kgs or less
- Be fit enough to load and unload parcels of all different shapes, sizes and weights
- Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
