About the opportunity
Our Reverse Logistics Clerks are key to our operations. This role provides operational assistance with all logistical tasks in accordance with company policy. The role improves end user customer service through expedient processing of returned freight and improves revenue by ensuring no revenue leakage occurs from second delivery charges.
In addition, this role improves operational efficiency to service and safety by facilitating operations supervisors to be on the floor monitoring /planning loads and OH & Safety procedures.
What you’ll deliver with us
As a Reverse Logistics Clerk within our StarTrack Premium facility based at Winnellie, you will require excellent planning and organisation skills with positive customer service presence in the facility. This position requires you to work in a regulated workplace that prides itself on meeting strict deadlines in a schedule driven environment. Part of the key to your success is your experience in building relationships with colleagues.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing superior customer service.
You’ll also
- Respond to email and phone enquiries as required
- Keep stock levels of expendables for processing (i.e. tape, printer supplies, packing boxes etc.)
- Carry out adhoc admin duties as required
- Access Team, My StarTrack and SAP systems to resolve delivery issues with freight held in reverse logistics
- Freight processing:
- Process carded, damaged, held and refused freight
- Locate missing or unidentifiable freight
- Process carded refused, unaddressed freight and assist with enquiries
- Locate missing and unidentifiable freight
- Process re-consigned and RTS freight
You will have
- Proven problem solving skills, initiative and a strong work ethic
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional presentation in accordance with company dress standards
- The ability to make a positive contribution within a team environment
