Are you motivated by the responsibility to help enable our team to deliver for our customers every day? As a Workshop Mechanic, you’ll be trusted with the responsibility of the effective diagnosis and repair of StarTrack heavy fleet vehicles and trailers to ensure team members in our facility and out on the road can deliver like never before. 

 

You’ll be  

  • Diagnosing issues and repairing heavy fleet vehicles and trailers
  • Trailer service and repairs 
  • Maintaining a high standard of record keeping 
  • Servicing FUSO and Mercedes Trucks 

 

Shift details  

  • Permanent, full time
  • Monday to Friday
  • 4pm start
  • Overtime (pre or post shift, as required)
  • $42.51ph ($36.18ph base rate + 17.5% PM shift allowance = $42.51ph)
  • + $15 per week tool allowance (basic tools)
  • + Monthly RDO


About you  

  • You are an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident 
  • You are flexible with working additional hours if required 
  • You have previous experience in a similar role 
  • Certificate III in Heavy Road Transport advantageous 
  • Forklift license is advantageous
