You’ll be
- Start every shift with a vehicle safety check, helping maintain the reliability and performance of our national network.
- Working with forklift operators to load your vehicle efficiently and accurately—keeping freight moving on time, every time, ensuring parcels and freight are handled with care.
- Take ownership on the road, executing precise deliveries and pick-ups between our operational hubs and customers, with a focus on safety, on time deliveries and service excellence.
- Be able to use scanners and complete relevant paperwork to keep track of pick-ups and deliveries.
- Take pride in representing the business.
- Understand the art of both enthusiasm and patience required in the role.
- Return to base to unload and reset quickly, ensuring seamless flow of freight through the network and readiness for the next run.
About you
You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community.
You’ll also need to
- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Hold a relevant heavy vehicle license.
- Be physically fit, frequently getting in and out of a truck.
- Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility.
- Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills.
- Meet our safe working load limit of weighing 120kgs or less.
- Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
- Drive our iconic fleet and benefit from competitive delivery driver rates while operating in a safe and inclusive working environment.
