About the opportunity  

Australians are online shopping like never before, so as our Inbound Customer Service Consultant, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our customers have what they want, when they need it. You’ll join a diverse, supportive bunch of customer-focused people who all care about our purpose of connecting people with each other and the world. 


Role Details

  • Role: Fixed-term full time (12 months) 
  • Pay: $59,257 per annum plus 12% superannuation (trainee level rate). Your salary will increase up to $65,387 per annum plus 12% superannuation (base level rate) after 3 months aggregate employment in any 12 month period 
  • Work schedule: Enjoy a rotating roster from Monday to Friday, spanning 8am to 8pm, with full time hours. Rosters are provided 1 month in advance
  • Training: Benefit from extensive training - 4 weeks initially Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, followed by 2-4 weeks of on-the-job training across your rostered hours
  • Hybrid: Once proficient, you'll transition to working from home 4 days a week, with 1 day spent in the office for team meetings
  • Location: Our brand-new office in Melbourne is conveniently situated on Swan Street, Richmond, with easy access to multiple public transport options

 

You’ll be

  • Answering customers’ calls, using your powers of deduction to track customers’ parcels and solve issues like damaged or missing parcels.  
  • Putting to good use that knack you have for turning a tricky situation into a favourable experience for our customers.  
  • Helping our customers with a range of different enquiries from calculating postage rates to helping book passport appointments.

  • You’re friendly, enthusiastic and reliable, and love working in a team environment. 
  • You’re solutions-focused and ready to put the customer at the centre of everything you do to help make a difference in the community.

  • Pretty unflappable, allowing you to calmly resolve customer queries quickly and accurately.  
  • A true professional – someone who is punctual, reliable and a support for fellow team members.  
  • Tech-savvy enough to work effortlessly across multiple IT platforms and simultaneous tasks.
