What to expect? Rotating roster basis however flexibility is a must to carry out altered rosters - mix of both day/night shifts including weekends - penalties, travel and tonnage allowances paid, 9 day fortnight 8.10 hr rostered shifts and overtime for all driving duties. Yard shifts are part of the role, however, this is predominantly a driving role and a multi combination licence is required.
- Safely loading your truck with cages for delivery.
- Completing your own daily vehicle safety check.
- Driving our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups.
- Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups.
- You’re friendly, enthusiastic and reliable, and love autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player.
- You’re passionate about making a difference in the community.
- Hold a relevant Multi Combination licence, your previous experience is highly valued
- Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility
- Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills
- Meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less
- Be fit enough to load and unload parcels of all different shapes, sizes and weights
- Be prepared to undergo a driving assessment, pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national criminal history checks
