If you like the idea of heading out on the road in one of our iconic vehicles to deliver for your community during the holiday period, join us as a Seasonal Casual Van Driver.


 
You’ll be:


  • Dropping off and picking up mail and parcel items to and from our customers
  • Collecting mail from Street Posting Boxes, Corporate Offices, Licensed Post Offices and Delivery Centres
  • Unloading mail from vans and manually sorting them into small or large letters and parcels including express post
  • Completing your own daily vehicle safety check


 

About you:


  • You're available to work from October, through our peak period
  • You hold a full Australian driver’s licence or in the final year of your probationary licence
  • You’ll successfully pass our mandatory and practical driving assessment
  • You’re flexible with working additional hours if required
  • You have a great memory, excellent attention to detail and can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularly
  • You meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less 


 
How we’ll deliver for you


  • You'll be allocated a regular shift time, and work with a great bunch of people
  • A higher rate of pay may apply for applicable shift times (penalty rates)
  • You'll benefit from a 12% superannuation rate
  • We may have opportunities for ongoing work beyond the peak season
