Description & Requirements

Help us deliver like never before
Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic red trucks to deliver for customers? As our HR Truck Driver based at our Mile End facility, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You might not be working from home, but you’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!
This is a casual opportunity and flexibility is required to work a variety of day shifts and night shifts on occasion. If you have an MC licence you could also provide casual coverage for our linehaul team.
Good hourly rates and penalties along with tonnage on offer!

You’ll be
  • Safely loading your truck with cages for delivery
  • Completing your own daily vehicle safety check
  • Driving our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups
  • Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups

About you
You’re friendly, enthusiastic and reliable, and love autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community.

You’ll also need to
  • Hold a relevant HR or above vehicle license
  • Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility
  • Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills
  • You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less
  • Be fit enough to load and unload parcels of all different shapes, sizes and weights
  • Be flexible to work a variety of different start and finish times across the week (penalties attached for certain shifts)
  • Be prepared to undergo a driving assessment, pre-employment medical and national criminal history checks.

How we’ll deliver for you
  • Drive our iconic fleet and benefit from competitive permanent rates, rotating rosters and operate in a safe and inclusive working environment
  • We invest in you for the long-term, encouraging growth through delivering on our values of trust, inclusivity, empowerment and safety
  • Be part of a culture where everybody feels they belong, are valued, and can bring their authentic self to work every day.
