Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic red trucks to deliver for customers? As our HR Truck Driver, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You might not be working from home, but you’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!  We are looking for someone to start on an initial 5 month fixed-term contract with the potential for ongoing permanent employment.

What do we offer you?

  • 5 month fixed-term contract with the potential for ongoing permanent employment
  • Start times can vary either 4am or 12pm (aim to provide 2 weeks' advance notice of shift)
  • Saturday overtime available
  • + 15% shift loading (6am - 6pm work hours) 
  • + 30% shift loading (6pm - 6am work hours) 
  • + 12% Superannuation


You’ll be  
  • Safely loading your truck with cages for delivery  
  • Completing your own daily vehicle safety check   
  • Driving our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and predominately pick-ups   
  • Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups  
  • Working on a rotating roster with shift times ranging from morning to lunchtime starts
  • Earning a competitive hourly rate with additional shift loadings
  • Opportunities for Saturday overtime

About you 
You’re friendly, enthusiastic and reliable, and love autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community.  

You’ll also need to    
  • Hold a valid Heavy Rigid (HR) license - HC or MC advantageous
  • Forklift licence advantageous
  • Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility  
  • Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills  
  • You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 120kgs or less 
  • Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
