About the opportunity  

This is a leadership role within our delivery frontline operation, leading a team to prioritise safety, service, and cost. 

 

You’ll also

  • Provide high level advice and support coordination to assist the Delivery Manager and facility staff
  • Drive performance and process improvement initiatives
  • Assist in the Implementation and monitoring of all facets of Australia Post’s Diversity and OH&S Policies and Procedures
  • Assist with the processing and delivery of letters and parcels as needed
  • Coach and where needed conduct performance conversations

 

About you  

You're motivated and able to bring the best out of people under your leadership. 

 

You’ll also need

  • Strong leadership and team building experience
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring co-workers 
  • Strong customer service focus involving direct contact with customers 
  • Interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment
  • Proven experience of prioritising, planning and scheduling.
  • Ability to be flexible during periods of change
