Rider Academy is your pathway to becoming a Postie with full training, support and a clear path to getting your full motorcycle licence.

Your New Role – Postie with a Purpose

Your home base will be Frenchs Forest on an ongoing basis, where you’ll complete all training and day‑to‑day duties. Once you’ve successfully gained your P’s, we’ll continue to support you in developing your skills, and if future opportunities arise that better align with your lifestyle, we can discuss them together.

As a Postie, you’ll be delivering on our electric delivery vehicles or motorcycles as the friendly face of our trusted service. At the heart of your community, you'll connect Australians every day and make a real impact — all while developing your skills and shaping your future.

• Got your L's already? Great! Don't have your learners just yet? No worries! If you’re successful, we will guide you on how to get them before you start and will reimburse the cost as part of our Rider Academy program!
• While training, you will gain experience across other roles such as walking or electric–bicycle delivery until you’re licensed.

You’ll Be:

• Starting early in the morning, sorting mail and small parcels with your teammates!
• Performing daily safety checks on your vehicle.
• Delivering mail and parcels on your bike/vehicle,rainor shine, to homes and businesses.

• Flexible to work across multiple sites as needed.
• Learning, growing, and making your mark with ongoing mentoring and leadership development!

What You’ll Need:

• A passion for learning and a strong sense of commitment.
• Willing to complete licensing with our support. Must be able to pass the Pre-Learner Course for geared motorcycles.
• Physical fitness to lift upto 16kg regularly and meet our safe working vehicle load limit of weighing under 100kgs fully clothed (including helmet) 
• Commitment to working Monday to Friday commencing 6am, with flexibility on finishing times is required. There are a limited number of part-time positions available.
• Successful candidates will be required to attend a mandatory three-day, in-person induction and training session in Villawood.

• Pay rate for this role is $32.34ph for the first 3 months, then $36.99ph once fully trained plus 12% superannuation.
