About the opportunity

As the Facility Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient and professional management of Delivery Operations across multiple centers within a large regional catchment. Your responsibilities will encompass Contracts Management and the implementation of strategies to ensure the delivery network operates at its optimal capability. Meeting and exceeding day-to-day Service Performance and corporate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) will be among the core challenges you'll address. With the Dubbo Delivery Operations encompassing various delivery centers, the Dubbo Parcel Delivery Centre (PDC), and an extensive roadside and parcel contractor network, your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in achieving a high-quality, reliable, and cost-effective delivery service.

What you’ll deliver with us

In this role, you will be tasked with developing and executing strategies that enhance the overall delivery network's efficiency, ensuring seamless operations across all centers. Your ability to navigate and manage the complexities of multiple locations and contractor networks will be essential in meeting customer expectations and optimizing delivery services. Striving for excellence, you will work diligently to exceed established KPIs, driving performance to new heights and maintaining a reputation for reliability and quality service within the region. Your commitment to continuous improvement and innovative approaches will enable the Delivery Operations to remain at the forefront of efficiency and effectiveness, making a significant impact on the organisation's success.

You’ll also

  • Lead the execution of operational strategies to realise integration benefits while reducing risks.
  • Develop and implement process efficiencies that improve service levels in line with targets e.g. DIFOT
  • Execute productivity initiatives which will optimise the operations
  • Manage allocation of resources through effective labour planning and allocation of equipment to meet Delivery obligations, schedules and service performance standards.

About you

You are an excellent communicator with a knack for tailoring your conversations to a wide range of stakeholders that you speak to across any given day. With your ability to approach challenges head on, you’re a master problem solver with sound negotiation skills and have a proven track record of achieving positive outcomes

You’ll also have

  • Logistics/Supply Chain experience
  • Exposure to unions is advantageous but not essential
  • Experience working within a large organisation with complex structures

How we’ll deliver for you

  • Collaborative team environment
  • Work for an iconic and leading logistics company

One last thing

Research shows that women and people of colour are less likely to apply for roles if they don't meet every qualification. If after reading this, you’re not sure you tick every single criteria box, but have the passion to get behind our purpose, the determination to face a challenge and a willingness to grow and learn, we think you should click that apply button anyway. We're passionate about building a diverse and inclusive team, and love hearing from people like you.
