Description & Requirements

  • Permanent fulltime opportunity
  • Sunday to Thursday 9pm-5:10am plus RDOs per fortnight 
  • Including shift penalties, earn an annual salary of $109,000 plus 12% superannuation
  • 5 weeks annual leave plus 17.5% annual leave loading!

Our letters and parcels business has an important and evolving part to play in providing consumers and businesses with a safe, easy and efficient service.

We're looking for talented electrical and mechanical technicians to play a vital role in connecting businesses and communities across the country based at our Sydney Parcel Facility located in Chullora. You will help keep our parcel sorting and delivery machinery in peak condition, ensuring smooth and safe operation for our employees and customers.


You’ll Be 

  • Working alongside Mechanical fitters and Electricians to work on our processing machines ensuring corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance.
  • Diagnosing, and repairing complex faults, ensuring the uninterrupted flow of our operations.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance transactions using SAP, contributing to efficient planning.
  • Prioritising safety in all your work, ensuring the well-being of our team and the integrity of our operations.


About You

  • Minimum Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering, Electrotechnology or related trade
  • Restricted Electrical Licence (disconnect/reconnect) must have (applicants who are eligible for this license are encouraged to apply)
  • NSW Electrical License (Highly desirable, not necessary)
  • Experience in diagnosing, repairing, and monitoring high-speed automation or processing equipment and systems. 
  • Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP. 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively.
