  • 12 month full-time position, with opportunity to extend depending on business needs.
  • Start at 6:00am, Monday - Friday and finish in time to enjoy your afternoon.

Help us deliver like never before
As our Postie at our Bundamba facility, you’ll be operating and delivering on our Motorcycle as the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting Australians every single day.

You’ll be working autonomously out on-the-road, interacting with others and being a team player and it doesn’t get better than that!


You’ll be

  • Starting your day early in the morning, sorting mail and small parcels with your teammates at the facility 
  • Completing your own daily vehicle safety check
  • Loading your vehicle with your deliveries for the day 
  • Delivering outdoors in all types of weather to deliver to homes and businesses
  • Paired up with our experienced Rider Mentors, who are committed to engage and take part in your professional development


About you 

  • You hold a full or probationary QLD motorcycle licence and ride a geared motorcycle regularly.
  • You are flexible with finishing times and working additional hours if required.
  • You have a good memory, great hand/ eye coordination, and excellent attention to detail!
  • You enjoy physical work indoors and outdoors and can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularly
  • You’ll successfully pass our mandatory and practical riding assessment.
  • You'll need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing under 100kgs when fully clothed.
  • You are open to being flexible and trying different vehicles, like our Electric Delivery Vehicles, if business requirements change.

  • After 3 months probation, base pay of $30.93 + plus 15% shift penalties and 12% super.

Training and Support


 At Australia Post, our training and induction programs offer support to ensure we set you up for success. You will attend an induction in your first week with our Learning and Development Team followed by a site-specific induction at your respective facility and additional online learning modules. As a new employee, you will receive one-on-one coaching, followed by regular check-ins with your Manager and Trainer to track progress, provide feedback, and discuss any support needed. We assess development at the end of each month during your probationary period, with adjustments or additional training as required. The program includes site-specific inductions and hands-on training, building employees up to full delivery capacity within six weeks. Our approach is flexible, ensuring long-term success and continuous growth.
