About the opportunity
Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic blue trucks to deliver for customers? As our Medium Rigid Truck Driver, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You might not be working from home, but you’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!
Shift Time: 6:00am - 2:06pm + overtime
Hourly Rate: $31.26 + 12% super
You’ll be
- Safely loading freight into the truck for your deliveries at the facility alongside your teammates
- Completing your daily pre-drive vehicle safety check
- Driving our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups
- Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups
- Part of a very supportive and diverse team with opportunities to grow within the company
You’ll also need to
- Current Medium Rigid (MR) driver's license.
- Experience in a multi-drop driving role is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload.
- Physically fit and able to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Be able to load and unload freight items of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck.
- You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 120kgs or less
- Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
