The manager of workplace services, devices, and support is responsible for overseeing large contracts and coordinating with multiple vendors to ensure the successful delivery of hardware provisioning services.
They are tasked with promoting and maintaining knowledge of Workplace Technology Hardware at Australia Post to provide a good user experience and effective technological solutions for staff.
This role supports the supplier strategy by ensuring that robust SLAs are in place to deliver value for money and verifying that received services meet the documented SLA requirements. Additionally, the manager serves as a key business escalation point for service-related issues and ensures proper assignment of all hardware to the appropriate business unit and user.

- Service Desk
- Level 2 Retail & Corporate
- Field Services
- Executive Services
- Device provisioning
- Asset Management
- Onsite support services
- Corporate Mobility & Industrial Scanner Services
- Telephony (Cloud Calling)
- Communications
- Print Services
You’ll also need..
- Proven experience in managing large 3rd Party Vendor Relationships
- Solid financial experience and acumen (budgeting, forecasting, unit price, service pricing, etc)
- A strong background in Service Delivery models and lifecycles
- A background in IT tools and technologies, including but not limited to, End User Computing, Device Management, Mobility Services,Telephony Infrastructure, VOIP Technologies, Communication Technologies, Unified Communication services and Printing services.
Commercial & Strategic Priorities
- Collaborate closely with suppliers and third parties to ensure adherence to IT industry best practices for efficient and effective solution delivery.
- Manage solution design resources to ensure that specific designs meet requirements and align with the best practices developed and applied for core services.
- Maintain awareness of current Information Security standards and ensure all activities comply with these standards.
- Demonstrate sufficient consideration of customer needs and customer experience targets, driven by business requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement of Workspace Services across Australia Post.
