Help us deliver like never before
We’re looking for a Workplace Asset Analyst to join our diverse, talented and innovative Digital Technology team who together are helping our customers and communities build a better future. Together, we design, build and maintain products, services and experiences that Australians trust, while delivering a sustainable future for Australia Post — and you could be part of that.
We're empowered to deliver for our teams and to delight our customers. We provide an inclusive and supportive environment that nurtures talented people, trusts our teams to deliver their best, and leverages modern work practices and technologies. It's an unexpectedly dynamic and collaborative culture that feels more like a start-up than a 213-year-old icon.
What you’ll deliver with us
As our Workplace Asset Analyst, you’ll support the end-to-end management, optimisation, and reporting of hardware and software assets across the enterprise, ensuring accuracy, visibility, and value for money. You’ll work closely with the Workplace Technology Services Manager and Billing, Commercials & Audit Manager, as well as vendors and internal stakeholders to uplift asset management capability and user experience across Australia Post.
You’ll also
- Partner with vendors to improve asset management processes, driving greater accuracy and efficiency across hardware and software environments.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting (ServiceNow) to provide visibility of asset lifecycle, utilisation, costs and optimisation opportunities.
- Support asset lifecycle management, including provisioning, tracking, reconciliation, and reclamation of devices and software licences.
- Drive continuous improvement across service delivery, including automation of manual processes and alignment to best practice IT asset management.
About you
You’re highly analytical, detail-oriented and thrive in complex, fast-paced environments. You enjoy working across multiple stakeholders, using data to uncover insights and improve outcomes. You bring curiosity, accountability, and a customer-first mindset — and you’re comfortable balancing operational delivery with continuous improvement.
You’ll also need
- Experience in IT Asset Management (hardware and/or software) within a large, complex organisation.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, along with strong capability in reporting, dashboards, and data analysis.
- Understanding of financials, chargeback models, and asset lifecycle management (ideally with SAP or similar systems).
How we’ll deliver for you
- Uplift skillset – strong pathway to develop in the SAM/HAM space
- Impact - Work across a large enterprise environment with diverse stakeholders and high-value assets.
- Learning & innovation – be part of a team evolving with data, automation, and AI, driving real transformation across the business.
