Help us deliver a better tomorrow
Australia Post is delivering for all Australians. From the vehicles that we drive, to the small businesses that make our communities thrive. We’re delivering for the environment, for our communities, for our customers and for our people. We’re moving forward and we want you to come along for the ride.
About the opportunity
Our Sprintpak Facility specialises in the design, printing, packaging, and distribution of postage stamps and philatelic (collectables) products and we are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join the team. This is a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of inventories, contributing to overall operational excellence and customer satisfaction. The role will also be responsible for managing fulfilment for our Post Office network, online shop and Mail Order Chanel.
This role is an operational role and requires an onsite presence across 5 days at our Sprintpak Facility in Rowville, Victoria.
What you’ll deliver with us
You will manage and optimise inventory accuracy, availability, and storage utilisation by leveraging systems to streamline purchasing, receipting, replenishment, stocktakes, and lifecycle management, while building a high‑performing team aligned to industry best practice and customer fulfilment standards.
You’ll also
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of raw materials and finished inventories by managing their end-to-end lifecycle, including obsolescence, write-off, and disposal processes.
- Prioritise completion of inventory-related tasks and effectively manage and allocate labour resources in alignment with operational plans and budgets.
- Continuously monitor productivity levels and identify opportunities for improvement across all inventory and warehousing functions. Implement strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and work outputs.
About you
You bring deep, practical expertise in purchasing and inventory management, with a strong grasp of best‑practice disciplines across both internal and external environments. You bring confident people leadership experience, including leading teams in a unionised environment, with the ability to drive engagement, accountability, and performance. Developing collaborative relationships both internally and externally is also key, along with the ability to streamline and optimise processes within the organisation.
You’ll also need
- 5+ years working in a supply chain environment including responsibility for managing operational inventory related functions.
- Warehouse systems experience (SAP & Masterpack desirable but not essential)
- Excellent people skills to foster collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders such as Product Category teams, as well as external suppliers and service providers
How we’ll deliver for you
- Join one of the most culturally and linguistically diverse workforces in Australia, where we’re all ages, genders and come from all walks of life.
- We deliver on our values of Trust, Inclusivity, Empowerment and Safety every day. They’re the TIES that bind our team together.
- Immerse yourself in the AP Way – where every single team member partakes in a learning module to help understand the vital role we play in delivering on our strategy and purpose.
