Help us deliver a better tomorrow

Australia Post is delivering for all Australians. From the vehicles that we drive, to the small businesses that make our communities thrive. We’re delivering for the environment, for our communities, for our customers and for our people. We’re moving forward and we want you to come along for the ride.

About the opportunity

Are you a passionate Talent Attraction and Mobility Consultant ready to make an impact? In this role, you’ll lead the charge in sourcing and screening top external talent to fill high-volume award-level positions across Delivery or Services. You’ll own the full recruitment cycle, collaborating closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand the business needs. From crafting compelling job ads to screening candidates and recommending top talent, you’ll play a key role in driving our recruitment success. You’ll have the opportunity to travel to operational facilities, including Deliveries, Transport, and Retail, to support our growing teams.

What you’ll deliver with us

You’ll partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to align recruitment with business needs, culture, and role requirements. Drawing on your expertise, you’ll provide guidance on hiring strategies and help shape long-term talent plans. You’ll use a range of sourcing channels to attract top candidates, screen resumes, and deliver strong shortlists to hiring managers. Additionally, you’ll offer coaching on interviews, share market insights, and work with internal teams to improve retention strategies and ensure we secure the best talent.

You’ll also

  • Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand talent needs, role requirements, and business strategy, including environment, culture, and necessary capabilities.
  • Leverage past recruitment experiences to advise and guide the business on effective hiring strategies, highlighting lessons from both successful and unsuccessful hires.
  • Contribute to the business area’s long-term talent strategy, particularly for high-volume award-based recruitment.
  • Use diverse sourcing channels, along with personal candidate networks, to attract top talent.
  • Screen resumes, conduct telephone interviews, provide candidate shortlists, and offer advice to hiring managers and HR partners on recruitment strategies and potential candidates.

About you

  • Recruitment experience with a proven track record of meeting KPIs and working to tight deadlines.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, complex environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate with HR teams and senior leaders.
  • Confidence in providing advice and recommendations to senior leaders, driving informed decision-making.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of work, handle repetitive tasks, and balance candidate and hiring manager expectations.

How we’ll deliver for you

  • Be part of a culture where everybody feels they belong, are valued, and can bring their authentic self to work every day
  • We deliver on our values of Trust, Inclusivity, Empowerment and Safety every day. They’re the TIES that bind our team together
  • Flexible working, across support office and operational facilities across the network
