About the opportunity  

The role of the Strategic Insights Lead is to evaluate business strategies, inform product development, and provide analytical support for decision-making that affect the strategic direction, with a focus on improving customer experiences and achieving sustainable outcomes.

The Lead oversees and deliver the end-to-end solution, provide strategic direction, develop robust and compelling content to back up our proposals, and incorporates market analysis and competitive insights to substantiate the evidence presented.

The position involves cultivating a strong understanding of the CEP industry, retail market, generating and disseminating thought leadership, as well as overseeing the budget and forecasts. 

What you’ll deliver with us  

Moreover, the position requires extensive stakeholder management, cultivating collaborative relationships both within and beyond Freight Services. The Lead also provides expert guidance to senior stakeholders, assisting in strategic planning and addressing intricate challenges, thus advancing the overarching objectives of Freight Services and adapting to organisational changes.


You’ll also   

    Lead the assessment of business strategies from the planning stage to implementation. 

    Lead and manage the strategies to gather, analyse, and interpret data to support business initiatives.

    Provide decision support analysis to shape our strategic direction. 

    Create compelling and visually engaging business proposals that effectively tell a story and meet strategic goals.

    Conduct data analysis and statistical modelling to identify trends, patterns, and correlations. Support market sizing and forecasting, managing budget preparation & projections. 

    Provide thought leadership on the retail and eCommerce landscape and its relevance to our services.

    Support the establishment and on-going refresh of the competitor intelligence hub.

    Support and oversee the sales and marketing collateral, including marketing / agency briefs.

    Support media and external enquiries relating to eCommerce.

    Support external customer engagement, industry partners and presentations.

    Conduct workshops and deliver presentations to senior executives with clarity in vision and strategy.

    Support the delivery of business solutions, support the definition of the future state solutions & tooling, FS strategy, design, policies, framework.

    Leverage the broader product team and other stakeholders outside of products and drive strong cross business collaboration and ensure delivery of key NPS, Revenue and Cost drivers.



About you  

You will have the ability to take insights and deliver a product & marketing perspective on them, using the base data to carry out market sizing, product strategy and developing new ideas. 


You’ll also need   

  • Experience in developing product strategy and the end-to-end product lifecycle management.
  • Extensive comprehension and knowledge of the CEP market, industry players, retail and eCommerce market.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the proven ability to tell stories through data.
