We're looking for a Planogram & Space Management Analyst to join our Space Management team, who will be responsible for all regular and scheduled space planning tasks for corporate retail outlets. The role supports the Retail and Merchandising teams by proactively managing the planograming process, applying internal and external financial data and providing merchandising support and recommendations to category, product and merchandising management to maximise profitability of all Corporate Retail Post outlets. Using the latest advanced space planning software, you will support the replenishment of corporate retail outlet inventories.
What you’ll deliver with us
- Manage a comprehensive catalogue of planograms that facilitate the needs of a wide variety of store layouts, sizes and customer demographics
- Maintain product databases, fixture libraries, position capturing, replenishment parameters, tracking and reporting
- Develop a database of customer information to develop detailed planograms to enable Post to maximize return by store location
- Communicate product layout standards through generation, distribution and implementation of merchandise programs
- Where category planograms are supplied by external parties, develop criteria under which their planograms should be supplied, ensuring they satisfy any criteria prior to sign off by the relevant manager
- Maintain a suite of planograms for other product groups within the business
- Provide prompt helpdesk support and service to State in store merchandisers as required
- Secure understanding and buy-in from field implementation staff
- Develop a feedback model that encourages optimal ways of working
- Ensure integrity of replenishment and planogram master data is maintained to a high standard
- Analyse forecast results and exceptions weekly and make adjustments to forecast parameters and master data to improve forecast accuracy
- Analyse replenishment results and exceptions daily and initiate corrective actions to align store replenishment outcomes with category specific inventory policy targets
- Consult and engage with key stakeholders responsible for other supply chain and market facing functions to share planning information, review performance and collaboratively execute improvement initiatives to support the delivery of inventory policy objectives and performance targets

- Support and influence operational and financial performance
- Develop robust relationships with a focus to improve overall service level achievement (SLA) for key stakeholders
- Contribute to implement process improvements to enhance Post’s capabilities in the disciplines of space management, in store experience, in store execution, auto replenishment and inventory management to support the achievement of key cost and service performance targets and measures
About you
- Excellent understanding of Windows, Word, Excel, Access & PowerPoint
- Proficient in using live images and maintaining a product library within the nominated software
- Sound knowledge and understanding of typical retail industry supply chain functions, processes and systems that support inventory management and fulfilment
- Exposure to inventory forecasting and replenishment systems, tools and methodologies
- Excellent planning, analytical and decision making skills
- Some experience in delivering operational outcomes through exposure to retail operations
- Relevant Space Management experience in a retailing environment
- Good knowledge of key market drivers, industry players and latest developments within competitive markets as related to Space Management
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills with an aptitude for initiating corrective action to prioritise and resolve issues and purchasing function
- Technical skills to utilize a range of Space Management systems and apply appropriate tools, processes and methodologies to support the planning and management of inventories, store design and customer experience
- Support program outcomes beyond span of control and brokering consensus among stakeholders with conflicting needs and expectations
You’ll also need
- Comprehensive working knowledge of JDA Space Planning Plus
- Demonstrated experience with SAP ERP
- Knowledge of Space Management software, systems and methodologies
- Knowledge of Aus Post policies and procedures
