About the opportunity
We’re seeking a dynamic Senior Portfolio Change Manager to become a key member of our Enterprise Change Leadership Team. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Change this role will oversee and coordinate change initiatives across a strategic portfolio, ensuring that each project aligns with our broader business goals.
As a key contributor in uplifting change capability, you’ll help shape the future of Australia Post, enhancing our overall effectiveness and driving the successful delivery of our strategic objectives.
You will be an expert in Change Management practices and outcomes, with the ability to work with executives and key stakeholders, as well as leading, coaching and guiding a team of change professionals to deliver the portfolio’s outcomes.

What you’ll deliver with us
- Lead and manage a team of change practitioners to effectively assess, estimate, plan and deliver change management for complex change projects or programs in the portfolio
- Develop a portfolio change strategy and plan that enhances strategic oversight, optimise resource allocation and minimise stakeholder impact
- Engage with and influence senior and executive stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for change initiatives
- Provide a holistic approach to analyse and manage the portfolio's change impacts for stakeholders and the enterprise
- Ensure that program teams interface with the business in a coordinated and unified way to improve the employee experience and reduce the time-to-business benefits of projects
- Provide coaching for senior and executive leaders and program managers
- Drive the use of the Change Management Delivery Framework tools, processes, and resources across the portfolio, including the Single View of Change
About you
- Degree qualified in business or a related field, or demonstrated business experience
- 10+ years' experience with end-to-end project management of complex, cross-functional projects and teams
- Demonstrated experience across the full spectrum of change management and Transformation projects/programs, artefacts, tools and techniques including large scale complex technology or operating model initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience using change management principles, theories, practices including business benefits realisation and their application to programs of work (Prosci or equivalent accredited)
- Knowledge of project management disciplines and associated industry standards (e.g. PMI), and understanding of Waterfall and Agile/SAFe delivery mechanisms
- Relevant (intermediate) understanding of technical, legislative, contractual and compliance obligations affecting program/project
- Demonstrate proven experience in managing projects of varying size and disciplines - meeting business critical deadlines across multiple assignments preferably within large, complex organisations
- Excellent communication (written and oral), negotiation, consulting, presenting skills and facilitation of large groups to gather requirements from stakeholders/business functions
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
