What you’ll deliver with us 

The position will focus on software engineering best practice for Cloud Platform Engineering, with in depth experience GCP

platforms and Subject Matter Expert with GCP to support other engineers. The role will:

- Take the endorsed architecture patterns and be responsible for design, build and implementation of Cloud Platforms

solutions with technical leadership in design, coding, and configuration.

- Drive the discussion, take the leadership and provide guidance to enable Australia Post to lead the industry in GCP

Platform Engineering best practice and support business outcomes.

- Take the lead to remediate vulnerabilities and security issues within GCP Platform and support other teams

Essential Experience

Industry and Function

• Google Cloud Platform technologies and services

• Security and compliance Engineering concepts

• Proven experience within GCP building and supporting

secure code pipelines, CI/CD, using gitlab

• Knowledgeable in multiple programming

Critical Knowledge

Market and Environment

• GCP certification

Technical and/or Professional Qualifications/ Skills Required

• GCP Cloud Certifications are highly desirable

• Ideal to have other Cloud Certifications

• Subject matter expert for GCP Cloud Platform related

activities

• 5 - 7 years engineering Cloud Platform solutions and

seamless project vending/landing zone.

• Experienced in 2-3 software development languages,

Golang, Open Policy Agent, YAML, JSON, Terraform
