About the opportunity  

The primary purpose of this position is to lead, run and monitor all items related to the payrun process and provide subject matter expertise and support for payroll related functions in SAP MPS. 

You will be expected to ensure data compliance with relevant legislation and policy in accordance with agreed service levels occurs at all times. This shall include management of SAP access requests, data integrity checking, monitoring, and reporting of trends, and management of all payroll data integrity and exceptions reports. It also manages the Service Now work groups for Payroll Administration and investigates and resolves complex enquiries, providing advice and support to internal and external customers. 

 

What you’ll deliver with us  

You will be required to lead, participate, and contribute to meetings/workshops and engage with stakeholders across enterprise to ensure data quality. 

We are seeking someone who will act as a 2IC to our Payroll Administration, Data & Reporting Manager and lead, contribute and work on additional assigned projects. 

You’ll also   

  • Enable successful delivery of pay run processing to agreed SLAs whilst being recognised as an expert ensuring accuracy of data, reporting and payments
  • Conduct detailed analysis, reporting and resolution of complex data issues, including assessment and correction of any exceptions 
  • Oversee data-driven remediation analysis to support Time & Attendance and Payroll remediation projects
  • Ensure accuracy of payments within budget
  • Oversee immediate, ongoing, and real-time compliance monitoring to support the delivery of accurate pay outcomes through identifying any pay inconsistencies or compliance issues before finalisation


About you
  

We are seeking someone who has an excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. You will have an ability to convert abstract concepts into actionable insights. At all times you are also able to prioritise based on importance and deadlines. 
 

You’ll also need   

  • Significant knowledge of and experience in the SAP HR payrun process
  • Understanding of Spinifex Reporting tools 
  • Experience managing multiple deadlines and complex reporting
  • Proven ability to work with minimal direction, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy 
  • Effectively work with internal and external stakeholders
  • Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel (Formulas & Macro’s, Pivot tables and displaying data)
