You’ll work closely with senior leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders to strengthen decision making, transparency and outcomes as Australia Post continues its ambitious business modernisation journey.

This is a great opportunity to bring a measured, structured approach to resource planning and partner closely with internal teams, as a trusted leader who drives clarity, rhythm and alignment.

What you’ll deliver with us

Portfolio Planning & Prioritisation

  • Drive and coordinate the Enterprise Services Portfolio Planning and Prioritisation processes to support strategic decision making.
  • Manage the business-technology portfolio by aligning initiatives and objectives with organisation strategy by maintaining the flow of new demand, including developing and evaluating investment cases.
  • Maintain the evolving portfolio roadmap integrating inflight and prioritised future delivery.
  • Plan and lead quarterly and annual planning cycles including design, implement and operate “Big Room” sessions

Knowledge Management

  • Support the development of the Enterprise Services Knowledge Management Strategy.
  • Manage the capture, maintenance, accessibility and relevance of technical documentation, service delivery knowledge, processes and policies within systems or organisational knowledge stores.

Communication & Executive Reporting

  • Deliver executive level reports on technology performance to meet organisational requirements and enable effective executive engagement.

Leadership

  • Support the Head of Portfolio and Planning in driving Enterprise Services wide initiatives and act as the second in charge to provide day to day leadership support to other team members within the portfolio and planning team.

About You

You are highly skilled in leading structured quarterly alignment and planning forums bringing together demand drivers, suppliers and delivery teams into a single, outcome focused conversation. You excel at orchestrating Cadence based planning, setting agendas, aligning stakeholders, ensuring assessments are completed upfront, and enabling detailed discussions grounded in a single source of truth. You are an exceptional communicator, confident in setting context, articulating priorities, and facilitating clear, disciplined discussions with senior stakeholders. Measured, well organised and highly structured, you provide clarity and create confidence in what the organisation is genuinely committed to delivering each quarter, in alignment with enterprise priorities.

You’ll also bring

  • Proven experience in senior role in a Portfolio and Planning function covering multiple domains.
