Help Us Deliver a Better Tomorrow
Australia Post is delivering for all Australians — from the vehicles we drive to the small businesses that help our communities thrive. We’re delivering for the environment, for our communities, for our customers and for our people. We’re moving forward, and we want you to come along for the ride.
About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a people-focused and data-driven Senior Manager – Delivery Partners Performance to lead our national support team and transform how we work with our Delivery Partner network. This role is key to enabling insight-led decision-making that enhances performance, compliance, safety and partner experience throughout the entire lifecycle — from onboarding through to offboarding.
As a vital part of our Delivery Partners team, you’ll be instrumental in building the reporting, analytics and performance frameworks that enable our extended workforce to thrive — and ensure our delivery promise is upheld across the country.
What You’ll Deliver with Us
Reporting to the General Manager – Delivery Partners, you’ll lead a high-performing team responsible for operational support and performance management of our Principal Contractors. You’ll bring deep expertise in data, reporting and continuous improvement to help us understand what’s working, where we can do better, and how we get there.
You’ll also:
- Lead delivery partner performance management with a strong focus on data analysis and insight generation
- Oversee onboarding, compliance monitoring, query resolution and offboarding — ensuring every process is efficient, scalable and insight-informed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence
- Build and enhance data systems, dashboards and reporting tools that empower decision-makers and stakeholders
- Use analytics to proactively identify risks, performance gaps and opportunities for optimisation
- Support stakeholder engagement through clear, data-backed communication
About You
You’re a collaborative and authentic leader who thrives at the intersection of operations and analytics. You bring a practical understanding of compliance and workforce performance — and know how to translate complex data into meaningful actions. You’re a natural problem solver, and you inspire those around you through clear direction, curiosity, and a commitment to service excellence.
You’ll Also Need:
- Extensive experience managing operational support teams in large, complex organisations
- A strong track record in data analysis, performance reporting, and using insights to drive measurable improvement
- Expertise in contractor management and workforce compliance at scale (1,000+ contractors preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), data visualisation/reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau), and SAP
- A genuine passion for leading high-performing teams and building trusted stakeholder relationships
How We’ll Deliver for You
- A high-impact leadership role in a business undergoing exciting transformation
- The opportunity to build and influence data strategy in a nationally significant organisation
- A collaborative and inclusive workplace with strong values and a clear purpose
- Access to career development, wellbeing support, and flexible work options
