About the opportunity
This is a unique opportunity within our commercial go to market team to help us create a sustainable future by uplifting our market positions and the profitability of deals within freight services. You will be a key part of driving better quality outcomes across retention and acquisition. In this role as well you will deliver the future freight services portfolio by helping to harmonise our existing product suite in line with our customer experience goals and to establish Australia Post as a strong player in the same day segment.
As the role assists in driving our customer growth strategy, you will be a critical part of representing our customers’ voice back to the product team.
What you’ll achieve in this role
- You will assist in establishing and managing a specialising practice, providing deep and specialist product knowledge for design & development.
- You’ll support a specialist team that consults with sales, customers and other teams involved in designing and developing solutions. Providing specialist and deep product knowledge and expertise during the design, proposal and development stage of non-standard solutions.
- You’ll help the team generate innovative ideas and effort around best practice, product development.
- You will drive the creation and management of specialist area dashboards to help make better recommendations.
About you
You will bring experience and knowledge of Australia Post’s product suite and a strong ability to support an empowered product strategy, go to market and programs function.
You’ll also need
- Experience within the freight industry and exposure to either B2B, B2C or International Freight products and pricing.
- An ability to negotiate and influence at a senior level, bringing commercial and governance perspectives to your conversations.
- Strong strategic partnership skills.
- An ability to develop the skills to support the building of a strategic go to market framework and associated roadmap for delivery with clear program deliverables and quantifiable success measures.

This role can be performed from Sydney (Cleveland St), Brisbane (Queen St) or Melbourne (Swan St) offices.
