As our Seasonal Truck Driver (MR Truck), you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities during our busiest time of the year. You’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!
We're now hiring for our seasonal period. StarTrack Seasonal team members commence across September and early October and depending on parcel volume, assisting us to deliver until the end of January 2026. Opportunities for permanent employment will be reviewed prior to the end of your Seasonal employment.
You’ll be
- Able to drive manual transmission MR trucks
- Safely loading/unloading your truck with cages for delivery
- Completing your own daily vehicle safety check
- Driving our Medium Rigid trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups
- Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups
You’ll be working
- Monday to Friday
- 10am – 6.30pm
- Opportunity for potential overtime pre or post shift during busy periods
- Be available from September until the end of January 2026
- Potential for permanent opportunity at this time
You’ll be paid a casual rate of
- $40.63ph ($32.51 base rate + 25% casual allowance)
- + 12% Superannuation

About you
- You’re an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- You hold a relevant Medium Rigid (MR) truck license as a minimum
- You can drive manual transmission trucks
- You’re safety focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility
- You have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills
- You’re fit enough to load and unload parcels of all different shapes, sizes and weights
- You’re prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo an Australia Post specific pre-employment medical, drug/alcohol screening and national criminal history checks.
