The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist sits within the Digital Engagement Platforms team, helping to create and send all enterprise communications.
As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the Digital Engagement Platform team in all aspects of building and sending a campaign. You will be utilising your HTML, AMPScript and SQL skills where required to execute campaigns which may involve building an email campaign using Content Blocks or HTML, conducting Quality Assurance and compliance processes for your peers, building audiences in SFMC or scheduling campaigns.
To be successful in this role, you must have a high proficiency in using HTML to build email marketing campaigns. You will have strong attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as working to competing deadlines. You will also have a strong knowledge of the current SPAM & Privacy Act as well as general ACCC knowledge with regards to sending marketing communications. You will be able to respond quickly and effectively to email campaign requests and review briefs as they’re submitted through our Jira ticketing process
What you’ll deliver with us
Your primary purpose as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist is to:
- Supporting email campaign build for enterprise communications, using HTML, AMPScript, & SQL in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Respond to incoming email campaign requests in Jira ticketing process, interpret Jira email brief and work closely with internal stakeholders via Jira, to check their requirements align with industry best practices and AP guidelines.
- Provide support to the Digital Engagement Platform team, including QA.
- Participate in team meetings including Stand Ups, as well as sprint planning and review meetings
You’ll also
- 3+ year experience working within a Digital Engagement Platforms function responsible for building HTML email campaigns such as SFMC, Adobe or Responsys.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills, as well as strong problem-solving skills.
- Great organisational / time management skills.
- Stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate HTML skills.
- Scripting experience eg: AMPScript, SQL.
You’ll also need
- Customer service orientated with a can-do attitude and strong communication skills.
- Ability to plan, organise and manage multiple tasks.
- Building and maintaining work-based relationships.
- Knowledge of current email campaign market trends and industry best practices for email marketing, including awareness of legal & regulatory – SPAM Act, Privacy Act.
