What you’ll deliver with us
The SAP Governance & Compliance Specialist ensures SAP environments operate within approved regulatory, contractual, and internal policy boundaries while enabling scalable business outcomes. The role provides strategic leadership across SAP security, access governance, segregation-of-duties (SoD), audit readiness, and risk management. It embeds robust governance controls across SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SAP Cloud solutions, and integration platforms, ensuring alignment between SAP operations, enterprise risk appetite, and business objectives.

This role is responsible for managing the current SAP security landscape, including audit oversight, while establishing governance and guardrails for future transformation programs. It involves configuring and maintaining security controls, managing the employee lifecycle, and working closely with internal teams and external partners. We are seeking someone with a strong SAP security background and solid technical understanding of vulnerabilities, as you will coordinate our internal response to vulnerability reports through to resolution. The role requires a proactive, hands-on individual who can support incumbent systems. As we are undertaking a large-scale SAP implementation, experience with SAP Ariba, SuccessFactors, and S/4HANA is highly desirable.

You’ll also

• Define and maintain SAP access, security, and compliance architecture across all programs and business units.
• Ensure SAP environments meet all regulatory, contractual, privacy, and internal policy obligations.
• Conduct SAP risk assessments and drive control design, remediation, and continuous governance maturity uplift through automation and SAP GRC capabilities.
• Leverage SAP GRC tools and automation to streamline compliance processes, reduce manual effort, and enable a shift to cloud aligned, risk-based governance.

Who you’ll work with
This role reports into the SAP Technical & Platform Manager and sits in our SAP Engineering team. The business stakeholders include Business Unit Service Engagement Managers and Business Process Owners External. There will be some interaction with Software Vendor Partners (e.g. SAP, Turnkey Consulting), Implementation/Advisory Partners (e.g. Deloitte, Accenture, TCS)  and Auditors/Regulatory Advisors.

You’ll also need
• Proven experience establishing and operating SAP governance frameworks across S/4HANA, ECC, SAP BTP, and SAP Cloud solutions.
• Significant experience in SAP governance, risk, security, or compliance roles within large, complex enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in SAP security role design, access provisioning, and segregation-of-duties management.
