Role Details:
- Loaded casual rate $35.01 / hour increases to $37.42 / hour after 3 months, + 12% Superannuation, (Junior rates apply for those under 21 during training)
- Extensive, supportive training (up to 12 weeks) on commencement, Monday - Friday, approx. 4 hours / day
- Training will also be provided on back of house sorting duties and van driving duties
- This casual Position will become “On Call" after training, shifts will be scheduled and unscheduled with no minimum hours guaranteed
- You will need to be fully available, Monday to Friday, between 6.30 am - 5:06 pm Saturday mornings and hold a full driver’s license
You'll be:
- Performing customer sales and service transactions with customers
- Managing high value transactions accurately (handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS)
- Conducting and processing a number of identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews
- Promoting our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising and other promotional activities
- Assisting customers with mail / parcel lodgements
- You will be trained and then assisting with back of house sorting duties as required
- Trained on van driving (delivery / pick up) duties, a positive attitude to driving along with a good driving record is required!
- You’re friendly, enthusiastic and reliable and you love working in a team environment.
- You’re ready to put the customer at the centre of everything you do to help make a difference in the community.
- Have experience in customer service and/or cash handling.
- Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift.
