About the opportunity
The Project Manager is part of the team that delivers Australia Post’s communications strategy. In partnership with enterprise teams and external project vendors, this role will manage an infrastructure program designed to strengthen engagement with our team members nationwide.
Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager, the Project Manager will coordinate the installation of digital screens and media devices in our Network Operations facilities. The role will require expert stakeholder engagement and a demonstrated ability to manage complex projects. A solid understanding of IT infrastructure and digital communication platforms will be highly regarded.
What you’ll deliver with us
- Manage the digital screens initiative, to help uplift our communication channels in parcel and mail facilities.
- Engage with facility teams to understand and deliver their communication requirements.
- Develop and execute a project schedule with deliverables, milestones and dates agreed and signed off by key stakeholders.
- Coordinate internal and external project partners to execute agreed schedule.
About you
You are an experienced project manager with proven success delivering large-scale projects on time, on budget and with quality. You’re excited by the opportunity to make enterprise information more accessible for our frontline teams – and you will enjoy collaborating with teams across the business to make it happen.
What are we looking for?
- 5+ years’ experience working in large, complex organisations
- Project management skills to ensure that large scale programs are planned, run and evaluated efficiently and consistently
- Demonstrated leadership of multi-disciplinary program teams (e.g. business, IT, project vendors) to deliver project outcomes
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- A solid understanding of IT infrastructure and digital communication platforms will be highly regarded
