What you’ll deliver with us

The Payroll Capability Specialist sits within the Corporate Applications Technology team and is responsible for the technical configuration aspects of the payroll system. This includes ensuring that the system is configured correctly, and that data is accurately processed. 

The specialist also provides technical support to the Payroll business team and 

collaborates with the broader technology teams to ensure that the system is properly 

integrated with other systems.

 

The Payroll Capability Specialist is Responsible for:

  • Configure and maintain the SAP HR Payroll system to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Provide technical support to the HR team in the use of the payroll system.
  • Collaborate with the broader technology teams to ensure proper integration of the payroll system with other systems.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Keep current with new developments in the field and recommend improvements to the system.
  • Monitor support ques and ensure tickets are regularly updated.
  • Document all configuration changes. 
  • Run knowledge transfer sessions with the immediate team and other relevant stakeholders.

 

You'll Need:

  • At least 3 years of experience in SAP HR Payroll system configuration and Maintenance.
  • Proven experience managing and resolving production tickets and incidents in a technical support role. 
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of SAP HR Payroll system including:

▪ Organisational Management 

▪ Payroll Schema

▪ Time Evaluation Schemas

▪ Configuration of HR related Infotypes

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with SAP Payroll ECC6 Public Sector solution
  • Experience with SuccessFactors, SAP S/4 Hana is desirable
