Purpose of the Role
As a PM Operations Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily logistics operations. You’ll work closely with the AM Supervisor, Duty Manager, and facility staff to ensure freight is sorted, scanned, and dispatched safely and efficiently. Your leadership helps maintain a clean, hazard-free environment while meeting operational KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
Team & Driver Support
- Collaborate with supervisors and fleet staff to meet safety and performance targets.
- Assist with run setups and dispatching drivers.
- Ensure drivers and contractors operate safely and efficiently.
Freight Management
- Oversee scanning and sorting of freight throughout the PM shift.
- Prepare trailers and sort areas for incoming and outgoing freight.
- Monitor delivery progress and adjust pickups as needed.
Facility Oversight
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised dock and sort area.
- Ensure scanners and systems are operational and data is accurately recorded.
- Support pallet breakdowns and trailer loading/unloading.
End-of-Day Duties
- Finalise SPVs, seal trailers, and complete reporting via SAP and TEAM.
- Communicate with Brisbane and WFM teams regarding trailer loads and costs.
- Secure the facility by 7:00 PM, ensuring all safety checks are complete.
What You’ll Need
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience in logistics or warehouse operations
- A proactive, safety-first attitude
- Familiarity with SAP, TEAM, and scanning systems
