Description & Requirements

Help us deliver like never before
Australia Post is delivering like never before. From the vehicles that we drive, to the small businesses that make our communities thrive. We’re delivering for the environment, for our communities, for our customers and for our people. We’re moving forward and we want you to come along for the ride.

About the opportunity

The People & Culture (P&C) Applications team supports the use and optimisation of cloud systems for the P&C business unit. We provide specialist advice and services collaborating with the P&C Centre of Excellence (COE) teams to maintain, administer, and enhance learning, performance, recruitment, surveying, and other solutions in the P&C applications portfolio. The team supports resolution of production issues (e.g., configuration issues, data issues) raised and managed through ServiceNow. Our primary applications include SuccessFactors, Donesafe, Avature, ServiceNow, and Qualtrics.

The P&C Applications Consultant position is primarily accountable for administering applications that support injury management activities, configuring applications to maximise business value, and delivery of changes to meet evolving business needs. The role will also support other P&C applications. The role is required to have deep expertise in P&C applications and to have an excellent understanding of P&C processes. For more technical changes, the role will work with Technology and vendor partners.

Role location is flexible and open to those in Melbourne or Sydney.

What you’ll deliver with us

The P&C Applications team comprises business applications specialists that maximise the value of our applications within the constraints of a business applications administration function (we are not a technology team and do not code).

You’ll also

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the ecosystem of P&C applications, how they inter-relate, and how our data is used in support of P&C and enterprise operations and objectives
  • Communicate and collaborate clearly to understand business needs and ensure customer teams understand plans, proposed solutions, and options
  • Support, administer, and enhance our P&C applications partnering with P&C teams, Technology, and vendors as needed
  • Identify and deliver opportunities for improvement within the constraints of business configuration and administration
  • Test and support release of new features for cloud applications
  • Support incident/issue resolution in production applications working closely with the system analysts

About you

We are seeking an individual who has supported P&C from an Application Consultant point of view previously. You will be an agile individual who enjoys working in a collaborative manner with others and applies their proactive approach when consulting with a client group.

You’ll also need

  • 3-5 years HCM applications experience
  • Demonstrable experience administering, supporting, and configuring HCM applications including Safety, Injury Management or Payroll systems
  • Experience configuring and supporting Donesafe is preferable but not mandatory

How we’ll deliver for you

  • Be part of a culture where everybody feels they belong, are valued, and can bring their authentic self to work every day
  • We deliver on our values of Trust, Inclusivity, Empowerment and Safety every day. They’re the TIES that bind our team together
  • Flexible working, across head office and facilities across the network
