About the opportunity  

We're looking for a dynamic and solutions-driven Operations Coordinator to support our Northern NSW/ACT Last Mile team. This role plays a key part in transforming the way we operate – using data, technology, and teamwork to enhance performance, drive continuous improvement, and deliver great customer outcomes. Reporting to the Head of Last Mile NSW/ACT, you’ll be part of a collaborative network team dedicated to delivering smarter, safer, and more efficient last-mile services across the region.

What you’ll deliver with us  

In this role, you’ll shape and support our last mile operations through strategic planning, data analysis, and performance optimisation. You’ll influence key decisions and ensure smooth delivery across a large and diverse team – all while focusing on safety, compliance, cost-efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

You’ll also   

• Lead and coordinate the delivery of operational support plans and process improvements
• Monitor network performance and identify areas for enhanced efficiency and service quality
• Manage implementation of new systems, tools, and reporting frameworks
• Provide day-to-day support and guidance to teams across the Northern Last Mile network
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver end-to-end service improvements

About you  

You’re a confident communicator and natural problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment. You enjoy using data to drive decision-making and take pride in helping teams perform at their best. You’re also experienced in managing change and influencing outcomes across a broad range of stakeholders.

You’ll also need   

• Significant experience in operational coordination or management in a large, complex organisation
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SAP)
• Proven ability to lead change and influence cross-functional teams
• Sound knowledge of logistics, transport, or network operations
• Familiarity with Australia Post systems, or similar enterprise-level operational platforms, is a bonus
