About the opportunity
The Operations Manager at the Jandakot PDC leads day-to-day delivery operations with a strong focus on people leadership, team performance, and safe, reliable execution. Supporting the Facility Manager, you will help build engaged, high-performing teams, ensure operational standards are met every shift, and drive continuous improvement in safety, service, cost, and productivity. You will model a One Team culture, embody Australia Post Shared Values, and actively support change and network initiatives across the facility.
What you’ll deliver with us
As the Operations Manager at the Jandakot PDC, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations across the site. You will help build high-performing teams, drive productivity improvements, and ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.
- Support daily operational activities, including safety, service delivery, cost control, and compliance.
- Optimise workflows, labour utilisation, and asset efficiency through productivity initiatives.
- Lead and coach your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and One Team values.
- Support stakeholder engagement, contractor management, and the delivery of high-quality customer experiences.
About you
You are an experienced operational leader with a proven track record of delivering results in large, complex organisations. You bring strong business acumen, financial understanding, and the ability to drive change while building high-performing, engaged teams.
- Experience leading operational and cultural change in complex environments, with strong decision-making skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, including working with unions and resolving workplace issues.
- Excellent business analysis, financial management, and operational planning capabilities.
