About the opportunity
The Operations Lead manages and organises the day-to-day, end-to-end operations of a shift within the facility and plays a key role in providing input into facility planning and strategy execution as part of the facility leadership team to achieve service performance standards and support continuous improvement.

As part of the facility senior leadership team, this role contributes to the execution of strategic initiatives to meet service performance standards and drive continuous improvement.  The Operations Lead is also responsible for ensuring execution of labour plans to ensure the achievement of labour costs in line with service requirements and budget commitments for each shift and ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.

This position is for the day shift, working 10:30am to 6:21pm.

What you’ll deliver with us

In this role you will support the delivery of shift operations across the Melbourne Parcel Facility, ensuring processing activities run safely, efficiently and in line with service commitments.  • Supporting and developing Team Leaders and team members to build a positive, high performing team culture.
