About the opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Building Maintenance & Compliance, you will work in close collaboration with the Group Property peers and our outsourced service provider. You also have the responsibility and accountability for operational and strategic planning, development, implementation, and ongoing management of Minor Works programs and projects. Managing a portfolio of Australia Post Group’s leased and self-owned properties. These minor works will be of low to medium complexity and within the budget expectation of approximately $75K.


What you’ll deliver with us

  • Ensuring that minor works services are delivered in a safe, cost-effective manner, under budget, and within designated timelines whilst achieving and maintaining all minimum compliance standards as per relevant local, state, and national legislations and standards
  • Ensuring our service provider's performance and operational delivery are within established and maintained MSA agreements and meet compliance and business requirements
  • Managing the fixed assets, plant, and equipment to maximise utilisation and continuum of business continuity developing plans for the future and current state


About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Building Construction, Engineering, or Building Asset Management
  • At least 5 years experience in Minor Works project management or related function  
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and engagement skills
  • Exposure in Asset and Facilities Management Lifecycle Planning
  • Strong Environmental knowledge to drive effective and efficient sustainable programs
