About the opportunity  

Reporting to the Supply Chain Systems Manager, as Inventory Systems Support, you will be accountable for all day-to-day operational requirements associated with retail supply chain systems and their integrations with internal and external systems. This role is critical in supporting everyday operations across the Retail Supply and Logistics team, ensuring an efficient and uninterrupted supply chain for Australia Post’s Philatelic, merchandise, core product, Startrack product, Uniform and Consumables.

This opportunity is a fixed term contract for 12 months.


What you’ll deliver with us  

  • Manage day-to-day activities associated with SAP and WMS system integration, including IDOC error rectification
  • Maintain existing supply chain system and processes
  • Support and be a driver for change associated with process and systems improvement for all supply chain systems and integrations
  • Accountable for maintain the program of work across all supply chain functions including, but not limited to domestic fulfilment, international systems, freight forwarding and 3PL arrangements, inventory management (IM), inbound planning, warehouse replenishment systems and all active order management systems
  • Responsible for executing warehouse returns, write-offs, and adjustments as per agreed retail strategy
  • Lead the processes required to ensure the continual alignment of inventory between the SAP ERP system and our integrated warehouse management system for both domestic and international.


About you  

You will have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross channel teams and stakeholders. You possess sound analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. You have exceptional organisational and time management skills and can manage competing priorities. You are proactive with a high level of accountability and have a keen eye for detail.


You’ll also have

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or industry accreditation in logistics, supply chain or another related discipline are mandatory
  • Minimum 5 years+ experience in Retail Supply Chain or similar
  • Knowledge of SAP and warehouse management systems is desirable
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of typical supply chain functions, processes and systems that support day-to-day activities of Australia Post Retail Supply Chain
  • A strong focus on continuous improvement and adaptability to evolving business needs
