What you’ll deliver with us

As our Head of Delivery &Transformation you’ll be responsible for leading the successful delivery of a number of key business transformation programmes, enabled by Enterprise Services. You will take a lead in partnering closely with EGM/ GM Executives across the parcel, post and e-commerce division and ensure our teams are delivering value add solutions/ programmes that enhance customer experience, customer onboarding and retention. You will build strong relationships enterprise wide to over-come road-blocks, build trusted partnerships and deliver to expected timeframes.


You’ll also  

  • Ensure successful delivery of the Programs, managing it within the defined scope, timeline, and funding envelope to achieve strategic outcomes and realise benefits.
  • Shape, define and articulate Program’s key objectives, strategy, and guiding principles that support business unit’s capabilities and aligns to Enterprise Services’ strategic objectives and wider business goals.
  • Develop and maintain Program delivery roadmap that outlines the phasing, sequencing, key milestones and dependencies of critical initiatives, ensuring alignment and integration with Enterprise Services strategy and programs of work.
  • Lead annual capital investment planning and prioritisation efforts in collaboration with Technology Freight Leadership Team, aligning financial resources with strategic priorities to maximise value and speed of delivery.
  • Oversee the development, definition of benefits, and approval of business cases for key Program initiatives, guiding the funding release process to secure and release necessary investments for Program delivery. 
  • Lead key delivery governance forums, such as the Portfolio Control Group, to ensure effective oversight, operational stability, Program risk and issue management, decision making, and adherence to best practices and Projects@Post methodology.
  • Provide clear leadership and support by guiding and coaching the Program’s teams and key stakeholders. Promote a collaborative culture that encourages ownership, proactiveness, problem-solving, growth mindset, and shared success.


About you 

You are a Programme Director/ Head of Delivery who has worked on large transformation programmes in a large organisation, encountering transformation and modernisation across the entire enterprise. You are also a strategic leader; who can lead teams in a matrix environment and have impeccable communication skills; particularly when communicating to executive stakeholders.


You’ll also need  

  • Experience in developing comprehensive delivery roadmaps that encompass initiative phasing, key milestones, and interdependencies.
  • Experience aligning complex programs with broader organisational strategies and ensuring coordination with other initiatives.
  • Experience in business case development, defining and realising strategic benefits, driving decision-making, and ensuring programs deliver value.
