The Head of Delivery Practice is responsible for ensuring the successful, consistent, and scalable delivery of technology initiatives across our Technology function. You’ll be responsible for the implementation of enterprise-wide delivery frameworks and operational execution of delivery practices, with a strong focus on business agility, delivery assurance, and the adoption of modern delivery tooling and frameworks. In this role you’ll ensure governance and risk management standards are met, and lead the evolution of the PMO into a technology-enabled, value-driven capability.
  

What you’ll deliver with us 

 

  • Delivery Coordination - lead the end-to-end delivery Practice function across all technology portfolios, ensuring alignment with business strategy and customer outcomes, which includes establishing and maintaining delivery frameworks that support agile, hybrid, and traditional delivery models, while driving a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement in delivery execution
  • Product and Platform Value Management - Set measurable objectives and key results (OKRs) aligned to the business-technology portfolio and product/platform roadmap. Measure and report on performance, feeding insights into future planning.
  • Methods and Tools – Setup, management and governance of methodologies, assets and tools for Delivery Management.
  • Delivery Assurance - Implement robust delivery assurance practices to monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure delivery quality
  • Technology adoption and communication – Drive the adoption and optimisation of modern delivery tooling, including implementing a structured change management approach for ensuring that changes are thoroughly and smoothly implemented with the focus on wider impacts of change
  • Centre of Excellence for Delivery Crafts to embed consistent, high-performing ways of working across Enterprise Services. Define and promote best practices, standards, and frameworks for delivery disciplines, as well as support capability uplift and professional development for delivery craft practitioners.  


About you 

This newly created role is your chance to lead from the front—championing modern ways of working, driving continuous improvement, and embedding a culture of delivery excellence across the technology organisation. You’re a visionary leader who energises teams in complex, matrixed environments and knows how to influence executive stakeholders to turn strategy into action. 

You’ll also need  

  • 10+ years of experience in technology delivery leadership roles
  • Experience in large-scale, complex environments such as ASX-listed or global enterprises
  • Demonstrated success in leading agile transformations and delivery modernisation initiatives
  • Experience in digital transformation or enterprise agility programs.
  • Formal certification in agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Scrum@Scale) and Lean Portfolio Management.
  • Exceptional communicational skills and the ability to present to executive audiences. 
  • Ability to work and influence senior leaders across the business
