What you’ll deliver with us 

Our Head of Technology holds end-to-end accountability for defining and delivering the technology services which are needed to support the Corporate business unit including Finance, Governance, Commercial, Procurement and Real Estate. You will collaborate with the business for the planning and execution of a Business Transformation while modernising from SAP ECC6 to SAP S4. You will leverage your product knowledge in SAP products and software, to yield the best business outcomes from those products, with a buy-over-build frame of reference. 
 
Reporting directly into our General Manager of Corporate Technology this role is responsible for Technology Change and Run of Corporate services supporting the organisation, including business continuity, compliance, and security obligations.  Planning and managing the duality of modern and heritage platforms in parallel to maintain business continuity over the period of a change agenda will be evidenced. Consulting with the business you will influence technology decisions on a SAP Modernisation agenda including best fit products and drive delivery of key change programs.

 You’ll also be accountable for

  • Commercial performance as well as the function particularly when delivering the HCM program.
  • Ensure the core technology platforms have maximised uptime, throughput and response time utilising agreed baselined SLA’s.
  • Long-term health and lead future state of the platform including associated investment planning and delivery against plan in Corporate programs of work.
  • Delivery of lifecycle services (plan, build, test, run), including projects, minor works and BAU changes that which also may involve more than one business platform.
  • Service management including service level agreements, service continuity, incident and problem management and the provision of service and performance metrics and reporting.
  • Capacity planning, compliance, software/hardware lifecycle management and technical debt remediation for the platforms.

 

About you  

We are seeking a motivated individual with extensive people leadership experience, particularly of technology personnel within large and complex organisations. The key internal stakeholders are the Finance, Governance & Commercial Executive General Managers and General Managers. You’ll be working closely with the CTO and Enterprise Services LT. You’ll be confident in architecting the strategy and building roadmaps for Corporate programs of work.


You’ll also need   


  • Demonstrated background working within a Technology function in a complex organisation with proven experience leading technology functions and delivering large technology transformation programs.
  • Extensive experience in the SAP suite of products, especially supporting a modernisation from SAP ECC6 to S4.
  • Ability to work with strategic partners for the provision of Delivery and AMS services
  • Experience in Industry Business Capability Models, and the alignment of process and technology to support those models.
  • Understanding of Salesforce and familiarity with various delivery models including traditional Waterfall and Agile.
  • Proven ability to lead sourcing events for the provision of Services or Delivery work packages.
