Help us deliver a better tomorrow
Australia Post is delivering for all Australians. From the vehicles that we drive, to the small businesses that make our communities thrive. We’re delivering for the environment, for our communities, for our customers and for our people. We’re moving forward and we want you to come along for the ride.
About the opportunity
As we evolve, we’re investing in new capabilities and growth platforms, including Rendr, our recently acquired last-mile delivery orchestration business. We’re now seeking a Finance Business Partner to play a key role in embedding Rendr into Australia Post and unlocking long-term value from the acquisition.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role offers a rare opportunity to lead and take end-to-end financial ownership across an acquisition lifecycle — from post-deal stabilisation through to full integration and steady-state performance. You’ll operate at the intersection of a fast-moving, entrepreneurial business and a large, regulated enterprise, partnering closely with the Rendr management team to drive performance, strengthen governance, and deliver long-term value.
What you’ll deliver with us
- Lead financial oversight across the full acquisition lifecycle, including integration and performance management
- Act as a trusted finance partner to senior stakeholders, ensuring strong governance and alignment with enterprise standards
- Deliver clear, decision-ready commercial insights through analysis, modelling, and pricing support
- Drive planning, forecasting, reporting, and KPI development for a high-growth business
- Collaborate across Rendr and Australia Post to influence decisions and optimise outcomes
About you
You’ll also need
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in finance partnering and/or financial management roles
- Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting or a related discipline
- Strong financial, analytical and commercial capability, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Demonstrated experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, or scaling small businesses within large, complex organisations
- Strong systems capability, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; TM1 and Tableau experience desirable, with some awareness of the AI landscape and emerging tools
How we’ll deliver for you
- A high-impact role shaping a strategic acquisition
- Exposure to both a high-growth business and a large enterprise environment
- The opportunity to join an iconic Australian brand with over 200 years of trusted service
- A values-led culture grounded in Trust, Inclusivity, Empowerment and Safety (TIES)
