About the opportunity
 The Jandakot Parcel Delivery Centre (PDC) Facility Manager will lead and transform delivery operations across the site, fostering a One Team culture and exemplifying Australia Post’s Shared Values. This role oversees the integration of all Processing and Delivery operations, focusing on safety, service, cost, and performance.

The Facility Manager will ensure compliance standards are achieved while driving operational improvements, cost management, and network innovation. The immediate priority is to implement efficiency programs that optimise asset use, enhance business partner performance, and improve Van Services operations at the Jandakot PDC. 


What you’ll deliver with us

As the Facility Manager at the Jandakot PDC, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, safety, and a One Team culture across the site. You will lead initiatives that optimise resources, enhance performance, and deliver exceptional service to our customers.

  • Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
  • Lead and develop your team to achieve performance targets and foster a safety-first culture.
  • Manage resources, budgets, and contractor performance to meet delivery and processing obligations.
  • Embed customer-centric practices and maintain compliance with safety, legal, and corporate standards.


About you  

You are an experienced operational leader with a strong track record of driving change and delivering business outcomes in large, complex organisations. You bring a blend of strategic thinking, financial acumen, and people leadership, with the ability to navigate industrial relations and stakeholder management effectively.

  • Proven experience leading operational transformation and cultural change initiatives in complex environments.
  • Strong business acumen with expertise in financial management, planning, and cost optimisation.
  • Highly developed negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including working with unions and external partners.
  • Extensive knowledge of corporate systems, HR, industrial relations, OH&S policies, and Australia Post operations, processing, and delivery networks.
