As part of our expanding team, the Gold Coast Parcel Facility (GCPF) is looking for an experienced Facility Manager to lead the operational activities within the facility, driving innovation, cost-efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
About the Opportunity
As the Facility Manager, you will be responsible for leading and integrating the operations within GCPF. You’ll focus on safety, service, cost management, and performance, ensuring compliance and actively driving change initiatives to optimise the use of assets and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all operational activities within the facility, ensuring safety, compliance, and performance targets are met.
• Lead the team through change initiatives, implementing efficiency programs to drive cost savings and innovation.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by applying Lean principles and the One Team methodology.
• Engage, influence, and secure active support from stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.
• Manage the facility budget, identify cost savings opportunities, and ensure optimal use of resources.
• Develop and maintain a “customer-first” service culture, improving customer satisfaction and depot performance.
• Prioritize safety, wellbeing, and employee engagement, building a supportive and productive workplace.
What You’ll Bring:
• Proven operational leadership experience in a large, complex organisation.
• Strong experience in industrial relations and managing change within a consultative environment.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams to achieve performance and safety standards.
• Experience in planning, budgeting, and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
• Understanding of HR, WHS, and financial tools to drive effective decision-making.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
