About the opportunity
As the Facility Manager – Riverina Delivery Operations and Processing Centre, you’ll lead the day-to-day management of our delivery and processing operations across the region. Your focus will be on ensuring high-quality, reliable, and cost-effective service delivery, while maintaining strong performance across key operational and corporate KPIs.
Reporting to the NSW South Territory Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the Riverina facility and associated delivery network. This role will also play a critical part in developing and implementing strategies to optimise network capability, improve service outcomes, and support continuous improvement across the operation.
What you’ll deliver with us
In this leadership role, you’ll be responsible for driving high performance, safety, and continuous improvement across the Riverina Delivery Operations and Processing Centre. Your focus will be on delivering reliable, cost-effective services while fostering a strong team culture and meeting key operational targets.
You’ll also:
- Lead and manage daily processing and delivery activities to meet service, performance, and operational standards—ensuring safety, efficiency, and a customer-first culture are embedded at all levels.
- Oversee labour planning, resource allocation, and contractor compliance to optimise service delivery and operational effectiveness across the network.
- Champion change and innovation through the implementation of new systems and processes, while maintaining open, consultative communication with staff, unions, and stakeholders.
- Drive cost management and facility improvements while maintaining strict compliance with safety, HR, and WHS policies, promoting a safe, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.
About you
You’re a seasoned leader with strong operational and industrial relations experience, skilled in managing teams within complex, fast-paced environments. You bring a proven ability to drive safety, change, and efficiency while maintaining collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and unions.
You’ll also:
- Demonstrate effective leadership and management of multi-shift teams in operational or logistics settings, with experience navigating industrial relations and union negotiations.
- Lead and influence a strong safety culture, promoting personal accountability and risk reduction across diverse teams.
- Drive change initiatives and process improvements in a fluctuating, high-pressure environment while managing cost reduction and operational efficiency.
- Apply solid financial and business management knowledge, including KPIs, HR policy implementation, and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements within delivery and parcel services.
