About the opportunity
Our Retail Operations team is at the heart of connecting with customers and communities across the country. We’re looking for a dynamic Executive Assistant to partner with and support two General Managers – Retail Operations, helping them deliver excellence every day. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring seamless coordination and enabling the effectiveness of the leadership team.
This role is open to Melbourne and Sydney
What you’ll deliver with us
In this newly created role, you will report directly to two General Managers and work closely with their leadership team. As a trusted partner, you’ll provide high-level administrative, operational, and coordination support. You’ll manage calendars, correspondence, and key business processes while driving actions and initiatives that support people, capability, and operational priorities. Success in this role means staying one step ahead in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where no two days are the same.
You’ll also
- Manage the administrative functions for the GMs including diary management, meetings, travel arrangements, etc
- Build and establish proactive relationships and networks with people across different locations, levels, and departments
- Keep the team in sync by managing business rhythms and driving clear, timely communication that ensures every initiative runs like clockwork
- Navigate multiple demands with ease, delivering exceptional outcomes for stakeholders through a cooperative and solutions-focused approach
- Deal professionally and discretely with confidential and sensitive information/ matters
About you
You’re proactive, resourceful, and ready to make an impact. You have proven experience supporting multiple senior leaders and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Confident and influential, you take initiative to guide conversations and manage expectations to achieve the best outcomes. Flexible, dependable, and highly organised, you build strong, collaborative relationships and keep things moving seamlessly.
You’ll also need
- Extensive knowledge and experience in providing a full range of administration support functions to multiple senior executives with strong calendar, travel and event coordination skills.
- Ability to think creatively and laterally and consistently show a positive attitude to work, problem solving and collaboration
- Advanced organisational skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities, planning and supporting events such as department meetings and conferences
- Experience working in a demanding environment with a high attention to detail
- High degree of proficiency with standard software applications e.g. MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, SharePoint, MS PowerPoint.
