About the opportunity

Reporting to the ‘Executive Assistant (EA) to the Group CEO and Managing Director’, you will provide exceptional support to the CEO and the broader Australian Post Leadership Team.  You will also provide support to the Chief of Staff to the CEO with regard to travel booking, expense reconciliation and other duties/support with projects as required. 

 

You’ll also   

  • Support the EA to CEO for the efficient running of the office, including improving/maintaining processes
  • Ensure all administrative facilities, room bookings, catering, AV and materials are available and planned well in advance
  • Have a strong ability to adapt to changing business requirements, demonstrate commercial acumen, and communicate and build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Assist in supporting a geographically and functionally diverse group of stakeholders
  • Where required, you may also support activities on behalf of other Executive Assistants (for example, leave cover) 
  • Deal with highly sensitive and confidential matters with trust and discretion 
  • Possess a proactive and can-do approach to all tasks and activities
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and will be self-motivated to complete tasks autonomously

 

About you  

  • Excellent coordination and organisational skills
  • High degree of proficiency with standard software applications e.g. MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, SharePoint, MS PowerPoint, SAP, Photoshop
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate information concisely, accurately and effectively
  • Excellent client service attitude, with a focus on providing a positive experience while maintaining the integrity of campaign and reporting
